Technique & Safety
Diameter alone does not establish compatibility with an implant system. Follow the implant manufacturer's prescribed drill sequence, depth, rotational speed, irrigation and technique. Adequate irrigation and a sharp cutting edge are important for controlling frictional heat during osteotomy preparation. Remove a drill from service if its cutting edges are dull, damaged or visibly worn.
Care & Sterilization
Clean the flutes promptly after use, then rinse, dry and steam sterilize according to your validated reprocessing protocol. Inspect the cutting edges, coating and shank before each procedure.
