    I use these Snips for my quilting hobby. It Snips the threads very well and are quite sharp enough for my purposes. It's just a grab and snip motion. They are also much larger than the other pair I had before. That other pair was a gift, so I don't know it's origin. These, however, are a perfect size for my hand and I use them every time I sew.
